  1. I love the bear…he’s adorable! But that 25x gogo pass would come in handy on the business trips!

  2. Wow, what an amazing giveaway. Thank you René and I really really hope I win something!

  3. Btw, on a delta flight now about to depart cross-country. Wish I had a gogo pass for this flight 🙂

  4. As someone who is 4 mm delta and always been diamond since it started I thought I knew most of the tricks but you helped me get the two 15 K MQMs for both me and my wife (also a 2MM and always a Diamond) with your tips. Already set thru 2019 but working on my wife’s. Thank you. Grover

  5. If it were not for Rene, I would be a lonely gold medallion! This giveaway is awesome!

  6. OMG! I didn’t think it could get much better than a pass for 25 GoGo sessions! Great giveaway, Rene!

  7. Oh yes, wait a minute Mister Postman
Please Mister Postman, look and see
If there’s a package for me.

  8. I have a slew of upcoming long-haul flights starting January in my quest to requalify for AA Executive Platinum next year and this cache would be very much appreciated!

  9. René,
We so wanted to come to Chicago this year but couldn’t work it out. Hopefully next year!

  10. Baby let me be Your lovin’ Teddy Bear
Put a chain around my neck And lead me anywhere.
    Lol

  11. It would be cool to share these with family, friends and would love to give Gogo passes to unsepecting strangers in the skyclub.

Thank you René for sharing with all of us.

  12. Look at all the comments this early in the day! I would sure enjoy that international pass on my trip to China next month!

  13. Will you check the text messaging on in the international flights and let us know how it works and if it’s free?

  14. Hi Selene!
Reminder: It’s Schedule Change Saturday. Check your flights. If yours are anything like mine there are a number of them that will need to be fixed and reissued. Take advantage of the change rule.

  15. I especially like the GOGO 25x pass. Prize aside, I do like reading your blog even though I do not agree with some of the postings; especially one that glorify the fact that there is still a way to qualify Diamond after Delta raise the AMEX spending to $250K.

  16. I am wondering how many Diamond will not make the 2019 qualification after the bar is raised to $250,000 AMEX spending.

  17. And, to think I thought this was a great Saturday because of football. This is much more fun.

  18. Love those GoGo socks but hope you kept a pair foot for yourself as they will go well with your Rene’s Points shirts!

  19. According to our expense report lady, GoGo is a No-No. Passes would be great for me to use and not have to go out of pocket.

  20. Rene, I enjoyed seeing you in Chicago again. Now I am planning a future trip on which I will become a Delta Airlines MILLION MILER – thanks entirely to your ongoing tips and your advice to sign up for two Amex Delta Reserve cards. Thank you.

  21. Schedule Change Saturdays really can be great. Agree the key is knowing what you want to change to before calling.

  22. New Delta app out for iOS today — 4.6.1. Just a few bug fixes on top of the automatic check-in introduced in 4.6

  23. Nice contest. Question. Why does delta in flight entertainment start before the safety video on some flights and on others after?

  24. Presents are made for the pleasure of who gives them, not the merits of who receives them.

    Thanks René

  25. We are no longer in the dispensation of age and experience. We are in the era of knowledge and information. Information leads a true leader and a true leader leads others.

    Thank you!

  26. Rene, doing LAX-JFK-ATL-NRT-SIN-NRT-ATL-LAX next week and still GUC waitlisted on all segs. Please send some good karma my way.

  27. Looking back, some of the happiest moments of my childhood were spent with my arm in packets of breakfast cereal, rootling around for a free gift.

  28. No changes for me THIS Schedule Change Saturday. Just like not knowing what I’ll get for Christmas.

  29. Flying this week and the next 7 weeks too. Off for the holidays then back in the air in January, on Delta of course.

    #HYDR

  30. René, you must spend all week long working on “things – Delta!” And thanks for all you do.

  31. It was great seeing you at the Chicago Seminars. What a great group of prizes!
    Ron and Debbie

  32. Hi RenesPoints●com,

I saw you tweeting about ai and I thought I’d check out your website. I really like it. Looks like RenesPoints●com has come a long way!

Building a mailing list like you are is so important too, I think people would really like to be signed up to what you have to share.

Good job on the social buttons, social media is so powerful these days

Good job with the Yoast plugin SEO is so important these days.

Also places like axtschmiede.com are worth checking out.

  33. Upcoming Northeast storm seems pretty nasty. Expect airport delays if you are traveling, especially Sunday and Monday. At least it won’t be snow since there would be several feet of it!

  34. Super giveaway, and love the blog — very useful and perhaps Delta even listens once in awhile? Ok, perhaps that’s asking too much…..

  35. On a more serious note, thank you for all the great information and tips last weekend! Enjoyed your session very much!

  36. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift. That’s why we call it the present.

  37. Judging by the 4 or 5 people making most of the posts here, I’d say the chances of one of them winning is about 1 to 4 or 5 🙂

(Hey, that’s ok, it’s by the rules, so I say good luck to all!. And I’ll add a post or two myself!)

  38. I slept and I dreamed that life is all joy. I woke and I saw that life is all service. I served and I saw that service is joy.

  39. Win or lose these drawings, when we share with others that makes us all winners, be it swag or status earning tips 🙂

  40. Great diversion from my fall cleaning and winterizing to take a moment for putting in a couple (or more, LOL) swag entries 😉

  41. $250k spend is going to be a challenge next year with the new AMEX verbiage regarding earning points or misusing the system

  42. Hoping to score volunteer bump vouchers in 2018 towards the 15K spend threshold in case I can’t meet the $250k spend

  43. Ha ! London has pubs for pups
I have seen dogs accompanying their owners all over abroad much more accepting or perhaps better behaved dogs

  44. And what would our world be if we never explored…I suppose flat, with dragons living beyond the edges of our maps.

  45. With this philosophical meandering, I’m expressing the joy of taking those meandering mileage runs while exploring the world.

  46. Who gets a better laugh? The friends and family that wonder why I, or anyone sane, would fly several thousand miles around the country to reach a destination only a few hundred miles away…

  47. Or is it those of us that cringe at thought of paying exorbitant CPM just/only flying from point A to B, instead flying A-C-D-E-F-B…

  48. All in all, I think everyone enjoys a good laugh, no matter which side of the fence they sit on 🙂 Some get there faster, others get more MQM in the process. It’s all good!

  49. Hi Rene! Enjoy the blog. I believe you’re the reason I’ve made Diamond the last two years! Thanks!!

  50. Hi Rene. Thanks! I believe (with your tips) that you’re the reason I made Diamond this year and next year!!

  51. Wondering if you or someone who’s also a Delta mileage run guru will be posting milage runs on partner airlines to maximize MQDs, as well as, Medallion miles?? Thanks

  52. Leaving on a river cruise in November; would appreciate the gogo passes (and everything else)!

  53. Not flying today but most days that Gogo pass would awesome! Working my way to Diamond in December 🙂

  54. Anyone else prefer the former NW clubs? I think they just feel more warm and welcoming than the open-concept look DL is trying for. The newer Skyclubs feel like a high school cafeteria to me, and often just as full/loud 🙁

  55. Rene’, why leave it to chance? Just award the SWAG to the number next to my name. Thanks in advance!

  56. I’ve been lucky today (paint can fell on the floor) Thank goodness the plastic was down. so maybe my luck will continue.

  57. Right @David is, only minutes to go until we have a winner. Here’s one more entry for good luck!

  58. Got to thinking, this hasn’t been a lucky week, so to heck with luck, entering again to increase the statistical odds of me being selected randomly 🙂

  59. And if statistics aren’t in my favor, perhaps increasing my entries by 1 more will be enough to be a lucky winner 😉
