These runs are just crazy good. I only have time to put up a quick note on this but see these links to read up and book this. I have booked a number of them for next year (sorry keeping dates pvt). There some flights with full flats and some with domestic biz seats but are really cheap. See:
You can check you are in ( I ) fare class once your ticket is booked and you can pull it up on Aeromexico.com web site (and put in your Delta SkyMiles number then as well). These are cheap prices but you may want to wait a while to make sure they stick. Airlines have been dumping even booked cheap flights as of late.

Got it – just ticketed now (and can pull it up with the reservation number). Is there a reason they have Delta’s award program listed as Skybonus? I don’t see Skymiles listed and it wouldn’t pull up with my Skymiles number.
So Rene, with all of these premium fare deals with MU and AM, do you think you’re going to do some of these types of mileage runs in 2018 to get Diamond Medallion for 2019?
actually had just booked total of 4 different trips on AM as I was seeing this. 2 to SCL (one departing JFK, one SEA) and then 2 LAX-LIM. If I keep all 4 of them, that should cover DM MQD requirements (15k) that I would have not made if sticking with DL metal, and certainly not for 15k bucks sticking just to DL
I’m looking on trips, if I book and it’s fare class I in Aeromexico, will it show me the MQD miles and MQMs on their site since it won’t show on Delta site?
@Rene – Thanks for the heads up. I just booked 3 trips ORD-LIM. Nice start to the year. I wasn’t able to put in my TSA Known Traveler on the Aeromexico site – it gave an error on all 3 reservations. Were you able to enter yours? I haven’t called them yet.
I booked 4 flights for next year – My justfly came right away and my tripsta came 12 hours later. I’m good to make diamond with little effort except for the 250k spend lol
Fares look dead/gone now? I seen them when this post came out then went to book now LAX-LIM was around $675 RT “I” fare now over $1300. LMK if anyone is seeing anything as previous.
OK.. I think I got it now. I misinterpreted the calculation. I thought that it was Dollars spent on AM * .4, not mileage flown * .4 when flying Business Class. makes more sense now.

I booked it on tripsta.com via Momondo, but I can’t see it on the Delta site and I can’t pull it up on Aeromexico’s site. Any ideas?
@Eric – You should be able to pull up on the Aeromexico site once it changes to BOOKED. You will not see on Delta

How do you credit Aeromexico to Delta please? Looks like my comment didn’t post originally or was deleted? @rene help?
@Santiago – once booked to to areomwxico and enter skymiles number
Thanks. I booked a couple of these back to back. With other trips, I’ll make DM EQDs without flying DL. As a famous jr. once said, “I love it!”
I’m looking on trips, if I book and it’s fare class I in Aeromexico, will it show me the MQD miles and MQMs on their site since it won’t show on Delta site?
@Anna – No. But you can look at chart. https://www.delta.com/content/www/en_US/skymiles/how-to-earn-miles/airline-partners.html

@steve – Congrats! I have not put that in yet but will work on that after some time has passed. 😉
I booked mine via Tripsta but haven’t received any confirmation it waked yet. how do you know when it is booked?
@alex – No idea. I used JustFly.com from SecretFlying / Mondo link. From their it changed to CONFIRMED and then I could see it at AeroMexico.com
Rene, my fare basis shows as “IRPM”. Is this what I want to get the most Delta qualifying miles and $s?
@MT – You can call Aeromexico and confirm “I” class and that SkyMiles number is in the record (once booked that is). I did and confirmed “I” class.
I booked 4 flights for next year – My justfly came right away and my tripsta came 12 hours later. I’m good to make diamond with little effort except for the 250k spend lol
@Alex – For 4 trips you get 14k MQD credit. Only need 1k more on tickets net to be good.
FYI, If you book on Expedia (through Google Flights in my case), you can enter known traveler number and ff# on Expedia site in the booking process.
@john – Nice tip. Thanks!

Thanks
@Yasmas – Yep, deal is dead. Congrats to all who got in!
OK. I don’t understand something here. How do you get $3454 MQDs on a ~$550 ticket when the chart shows 40% MQD ?
Gregg
@Gregg G – Re-read this post that breaks it down for you: http://renespoints.boardingarea.com/2017/10/09/protip-the-2019-delta-medallion-elite-year-rewards-mileage-runners/
