  1. Can those who already have AA card apply for this or it is only for “first time” offer?

  2. Ppl who dont care anything else but points and statement credit just like myself, this is not as good as the 50k, $150 statement credit that has been out. Unless someone else can prove me wrong.

  3. @Rajnish – if it has been 18 month you should be able to get it no problem. If not, maybe is all I can say right now.
@Mike – yes if you can find those links and get credit. Most have been shutdown by Citi (if you want the old card without the new stuff that is very nice!)

  4. I think those benefits are active today forward for existing cardholders, but the fine print says only for flights booked after today. Stinks because we have no status on AA (hence we are reading DL Points), but have gobs of miles and the Mrs. is flying to the Caribbean via AA but can’t check bags for free, even though she’s got the personal and Biz AA cards listed. I’m hoping they will waive the fees though even though tickets were booked prior to today.

  5. These new benefits apply to existing cardholders, and apply if you get a card that offers more than 30k bonus points as a signup incentive.
