Having been gone for a while I have been playing catch-up with my real job and clients. I have had so many little things I wanted to blog about and my fellow Boarding Area “crew” have done a great job of covering many of these topics but not all.

First, there are a bunch of new Skybonus deals you can register for. I had many I had not yet clicked on for possible bonus points.

Next, you can try for 500 free Skymiles from ACCOR hotels with this link.

There is a good Flyer Talk thread about a low cost ($423 all in) trip to Dublin from NYC but there are low cost seats from Chicago and other cities as well if you search around with Matrix.

And lastly blog reader and blogger Kathy, aka “WillrunForMiles”, has a good post on service animals and Delta HERE!

Have a good and safe weekend everyone! – René

  1. My wife just got back from DC(to atl). There’s a new delta policy that apparently went into effect July 1. Figured you might want to know about it.
If there is one person on a place with a peanut allergy (apparently there’s a form you can fill out). They will not serve peanuts to anyone on the plane. Also, if peanuts are the only snack on the plane- no snacks for anyone on the plane.
I’m still wrapping my head around it. Weird policy.

It happened to my wife on her flight. It was announced by the flight attendant. Funny thing is that my wife has a peanut allergy. She had no idea about all of this until the flight.

  2. Do you have a post explaining skybonus step by step? I signed up for it, but am still confused as to how it works. do I automatically earn skybonus points now every time I simply book a flight with my skymiles #? are skybonus points the same as skymiles – or are they convertible into miles? thanks as always, Mr. Delta!
