Best Credit Cards

I have a busy week with year end inventory for my real computer job & taxes etc. etc. So, how about this, I have a list of some of my best of posts for 2012. Pick the one you like best from the list (or if there is another one you like best that is fine too just tell us the post name) for chance to win:

$25 – Skymall gift card ( I have two )
$25 – Restaurant gift card ( I have four )
$15 – Amazon gift card ( I have one )

I will use random.org to pick the winners at 9-10PM Friday night the 28th EST. Please enter only once per person by comment on the blog (e-mail does NOT count) and you can only win one each of the above i.e. I will have 7 winners in all.

So here is my list for you to pick from:

  • The POST finding out what is inside my Chase card
  • People often check my POST on Delta/AF/KLM seats
  • The weekly rookie POST feature
  • The TEXT alert for deals POST & service
  • A step by step POST of how to Tweet Delta

So there are some posts I am proud of this year. I can’t wait for 2013 and to see what that will bring to our “beloved airline”! 🙂

PS – if you tweet, I also have a retweet contest going today too!

  2. I will be flying Delta on low level award seats because of the weekly rookie post. Thank you-

  3. The weekly rookie post is good. We should not be lazy when it comes to organizing our points. AND it adds up over time so just do it!

  4. I love the guide to tweeting @DeltaAssist. Twitter is so often underutilized by travelers and can go so far in terms of providing assistance!

  5. The TEXT alert for deals POST & service, but I also enjoy The weekly rookie POST feature

  6. I like the The weekly rookie POST feature. It sometimes refreshes me on some forgotten rules

  7. What’s inside my Chase Sapphire card. I was curious (as were some waiters and hotel clerks who ran it), and now I know.

  8. I’m loving the beginner series of posts. I would love either the Skymall or Amazon. Thank you.

  13. Chase card was the best of the list from above. I had the same experience — that thing is nearly impossible to destroy!

  15. amazon GC – step by step instructions on tweeting Delta.
Never used twitter, but I signed up around a week after that post when they screwed something up.

  16. I definitely really liked your post on how to tweet delta. I actually created a Twitter account so I could communicate with Delta after hearing such positive comments on this board and others. So you’re step by step instructions on tweeting delta were great.

I also enjoy the weekly rookie posts. Though I’m a very frequent traveller, I read all of our rookie posts and often times I am remdinded of tips and tricks that I had forgotten about. So always great information. I have forwarded your weekly rookie posts to many family/friends who are not frequent travellers because the information is very valuable! keep up the informative work Rene.

Thanks for all the great help throughout the year!

  19. Thanks for the weekly ROOKIE posts! They help me get up to speed on this new hobby of collecting miles and points.

  20. Of course my favorite was:
Text ALERT for travel deals will go to BETA test stage!

Would love an Amazon or Restaurant.com gift card, thanks so much for the awesome contest

  21. I loved the text alert post and love getting those texts that allow me to get in on a deal ASAP. Thanks for all your hard work and I wish you a blessed 2013!

  25. Being a rookie, I have to vote for the rookie column. I just have to wonder how long it will take me to graduate to the next level?

  26. By far the DL/AF/KL seats post.

Any of the cards will do, but if I had to choose, its the restaurant.com one.

  27. I love the weekly Rookie posts. Really helps alot. One of my favorites was “Understanding the ‘Bump’ and How to get Max Value”.

  28. The weekly rookie post…although I do not consider myself a rookie, I still find it a very useful post!

  29. Why was there a metal plate in the Sapphire Card? Durability or perhaps an experiment? I liked the post!
