In case you missed it, e-Miles and e-Rewards are both dumping Delta as a redemption partner next year. That leaves only WhiteBoard as a survey site to earn Skymiles (once they accept you).

But it is NOT too late to get your e-Rewards out. [EDIT: looks like the pull it early] Below is the redemption chart for e-Rewards for Skymiles.

And the good news is that points will just about post instantly, so if you want to take advantage of this you should act now!

Also for e-Miles. You can redeem today and get Skymiles if you have 500 points to cash in!

And now to MQM’s. If you, still today, are not flying and are short your MQM’s goal for the year, shame on you! But, even procrastinators have a way out if you ACT FAST.

If you buy a 1 year Skyclub membership you can get 1500 bonus MQM’s that ends today with the promotion code SCMQM

All you do is login to your Delta.com account and then to go to the buy Skyclub membership. Then, as you see above, enter in the code and you should then see the below:

This is a “reasonably” cheap way of getting those 1500 missing MQM’s and enjoy the Skyclub for a year.

And if you need MORE than 1500 MQM’s to end the year, then, again if you are not up in the air right now, you are stuck paying big money for them.

You can just CLICK HERE and pay for them. Hopefully with your DELTA AMEX card as you might as well get some Skymiles when you do it as well 🙂

[EDIT: Delta has EXTENDED so you can buy MQM’s in JAN to count towards 2012]! “Still a little short of Diamond, Platinum, Gold or Silver Medallion® status for 2013? Through January 31, 2013”

Be safe tonight everyone! – René

  1. Question please? I achieved Platinum Status again this year. I compiled 86,500 miles and the Delta.Com website told me I had some rollover miles. Now that it is January 1, 2013, everything has been reset to Zero. I completed 50 flight segments in 2012 and used my Delta Platinum Sky Miles Card and also opened up a Delta Reserve Card for personal use. My business use gave me two 10,000 MQM awards during the past year for $ 80,000 in business expenses. I am hoping to divide those expenses up this year between the 2 cards with separate personal expenses in the hopes of getting more MQM miles plus my personal travel.

When do the rollover miles post?

Also if I decided to buy the 10,000 MQM miles before the end of the month would they still be added as rollover miles to my account for 2013? Or would they make that big fat zero that is sitting in my account now change to 10,000 MQM?

It would be a big jumpstart towards Silver. I have a trip to Guatemala in February coming up in business class, which would normally give you 1750 miles plus the various bonuses each way but I may have to cancel that, so the 10,000 MQM would make up for the lost miles in travel if my thinking is correct.
