This is the mileage run deal (from FlyerTalk – CokeandTaco) that just keeps morphing and will not go away (makes me a happy man)! The price has gone sub-$200 for LAX and there are few open dates still for the 5k run but as you can see below, going to SFO or from  MKE will yield you over 5600 MQM’s for just $222!

oh my – thank you Delta

There are a bunch of days you can do back-2-back days as well. For me, 2 days is perfect. Just when you are done, the run is done. You could also spend a few days in San Francisco this fall and that ain’t all bad either. Anyway, you can never have enough MQM’s and adding 11,000+ in two-ish days is just great! – René

  1. I’m in! I found a $70 ow MSPMKE to kick this off, a 60-minute midnight turnaround at LAX to a return that changes in MSP, where I’ll get deplane and go home. The LAXMSP red-eye is on a 767-300, so hopefully my GM upgrade will come through and I’ll actually get some real sleep.

Depending on my upcoming schedule (I’m a marketing consultant, so project work provides me some good flexibility), I’ll see whether there are still low-CPM MR fares to IST or DXB from ORD and IAH.

  2. I dont get it at all (I am a newbie), How does it work? When you have to pay 200 for just 5k miles? Can you please explain what is miles run? I really don’t get it. Your help will be much appreciated.

  3. Thanks for your reply, are these some special miles or what because generally 20K miles are worth 200$ on united or other airlines. Paying 200 for 5.6K miles is not making sense to me 🙁 I can send 10k to my wife using paypal which will earn me 10k miles and paypal fees would be 270$ so for 270$, I can get 10k miles. Then how is this better deal?

    How does this maths work? $202ai (5606mi ~3.6cpm) ?

Your response will be much appreciated,
