I think Delta wants everyone to be Diamond Medallion this year at these prices. Sorry I could not post this sooner (I did tweet it out) but the fare looks live via ATL to get this at the best CPM. Thanks to the CokeandTaco for this latest one!

The GREAT thing about this one is it is a weekend run. After work Friday fly out and back Saturday. 🙂

Also, the Rookie post will be LATE tomorrow and will not make the daily e-mail blast so please check back to the blog by lunch-ish time! – René

  1. Are you kidding me??!!?!! I am sitting in Houston right now for a legitimate work trip. Booked 4 weeks ago and NO bay area airports had anything less than $500+ round trip. I even had to fly out of OAK, first time I have ever flown out of there, and only could route through SLC for the minimum miles. And I live 10 min from SJC…. OAK was 1h15m this morning in traffic

  2. @AT – look at it this way, if, (and there are not that many days) you could book 22 of these trips for $3,500 about all in, you would have earned DM status.

  3. This works in reverse too (IAH-SJC), although with a one-night stay. I see availability through June 7.

  4. @jeff – you really should look again. I see MANY MANY MORE OPEN days back to back in April – still VERY VERY LIVE! 😉 (check with 1 day not 0)

  5. I was looking at the reverse run IAH-SLC, since it’s a lot closer to ATL (where I live). So I checked ATL-IAH, and can get that for $197, putting the total at $356, or about 5.1 cpm. I then checked ATL-SJC, and there are several runs at 5700+ MQM for $341, or 5.9 cpm. I know – not great, but for ATL it’s not bad. (You alomost never find a MR from ATL for less than 8 to 10 cpm.)

  6. Russ,

I’m also in Atlanta and looking for similar Mileage Runs. How did you come up with the mileage runs for 5700? Would you mind listing your routing? Thanks.

  7. We need to make a trip to ATL in mid-May and it would have been very welcome to save nearly nearly $900 on our family visit. Not an MR. Oh well.
