Welcome to a new feature of the blog. On the last day of the month I will have a recap of the month’s posts – a newsletter if you will of what has been going on this month. It will be on the last day as long as it is not a “Rookie Wednesday” and then it will come the day before (this year only on July 30th). It will not cover all posts, but just the highlights for each month.

Why a newsletter? Simple. I cannot tell you the number of times a reader has said, why don’t you blog about this or that and then I send them a link from a few weeks back on a post that covers just what they were asking about. They then say:

“Oh, well I try to read the blog each day
but some days I get too busy”!

I totally get you and where you are coming from. So, this way, if there is a topic you missed out on, you can get a quick recap of what you missed. Here we go!

➥ If you need to renew your passport why not get extra pages for FREE when you do.

➥ At long last we can buy gift cards for Delta. About time right?

➥ Looking for a few hundred thousand points? These cards are worth a look!

➥ What can you do on a Mileage Fun Run? I took one in the beginning of the month and one at the end. Both were a blast!

➥ Got Skybonus? Check out your fellow readers thoughts on their best value and redemption.

➥ Sometimes award booking can be a drag. Don’t despair, ADAM is here!

➥ JFK to SFO & LAX (and the other way too) flyers can now order some good looking food. We will see how the test goes!

➥ If the WORST happens to the Skymiles program, what will you do? You should plan ahead just in case!

➥ “Barbie Jets” are never ever fun but any small tips to make the trip better is always welcome!

➥ There are many good ways to use your Chase Ultimate Rewards points. I share the way I use mine.

➥ Thrifty car rental wants to charge me almost $10/gal for gas! NOT!

➥ There are good reasons to have a free KLM Flying Blue account.

➥ Is Delta Skyclub Membership all that great anymore?

I don’t know about you all, but I cannot wait for June and the day with the most sunshine of the year. The only bad part is we are from that day forward moving back toward the darkness (but like most Delta flyers I am a cup ½ full kinda guy – we have to be right?)! – René
