First let’s say congratulations, thanks to, to our winner Matthew who says:

“The Sapphire Preferred, for the Avios option!”

So UR points for both MR spending and sending to Avios – yeah I see your point Matthew! Team that up with the Chase British Airways card and you have a bunch of Avios points! I will contact you soon to get your watch to you!

Now on to the results. I was really expecting more to vote for the Barclay’s Arrival card due to the fact that it gives 2x points for all purchases and 10% points back at redemption. But, as many have commented now and before, they are very picky on approvals and many have been turned down for the card (including my Lisa, got a NO)!

So let’s look at the breakdown and the strong numbers

82% voted for the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card
12% for the US Bank FlexPerks® Travel Rewards Visa Signature®
6% for the Barclaycard Arrival™ World MasterCard®

I have been spending on all 3 of my cards as of late as I have a goal in mind for the Flex Perks card and I wholeheartedly agree the 7% bonus at the end of the year from Chase is just uber-sweet. I guess I am also still upset that Barclays does not and did not “bump the bonus” when I got in on the 20,000 point offer when they bumped it up to the current 40,000.

BTW the amazing 55k-RDM/20k-MQM Delta Business Platinum card bonus offer has ended. Congrats to all who got in. AMEX was almost giving away Silver Medallion status for $150. It was a great deal, but keep in mind you can still get up to 40,000 MQM’s with the current personal and business Delta Reserve card, but you will have to meet the spend by 31DEC this year to get all those points so you better have some BIG spend going if you want reap all 40k by year end! – René
