Everyone is talking about today as the last day of the SW AIR 50,000 point 4 card bonanza but I am holding off. Why? As a few have touched on, good news is on the way tomorrow and I am ready for a new round of cards. I am looking at a certain hotel card, another hotel card and if the SW Air links are still working tomorrow one of them too [EDIT: just got word cut-off is 10:AM on the 7th for the SW Air – yeah me :-)]. Should be fun and it will be fun to see how many instant approvals I get (my guess is zero instant).
Next is an issue many readers have been telling me about that I have seen first hand too. We all know Delta “IT” is what it is. I love my Firefox browser and try to never ever use another one on my computer. However, as you can see from the above shot, most times when I try to print a HOOU I get a blank page. If I go back and check-in with Internet Explorer, then the coupon does show up right with a bar code so I can use it. Keep this in mind if you also get a blank page.
At long last my targeted 15,000 US AIR points came from my US AIR card. I have to tell you that this year I have had to follow-up on so many of these types of promotions and almost none of them have given me the points inside the time frame they promised. It goes to show you have to be organized to play this game!
Next, I promised I would giveaway more Delta Points luggage tags. I have 10 more up for grabs, but this one will be a little bit hard. Here is the deal. You only get 1 guess. I will not show the winners or publish the comments and guesses until I have the first 10 winners (EDIT: We have our winners – it is MKE) with the right guess.
If you are a regular blog reader you will be able to recognize the photo from a previous post. Tell me what airport the above Skyclub is from to win not just a Delta Points tag, but also the phone holder for home or inflight use (my phone is NOT included 🙂 )! – René
