ORD MR 2

This one is still developing with a HT to SFOandNRT from FlyerTalk and there seems to be all sorts of days, routes and deals. Use ITA Matrix and do some searching and then book all you can – you have 24hrs to cancel (be sure you do if you are NOT going to fly)!

  • Prices from $188-205
  • CPM at 3.2-3.7 (maybe lower)
  • 5000+ MQMs
  • Maybe workable one-way

It is year end kids and you have no excuse when 31DEC hits and you say – “GOSH I wish I had got in on one of those MR’s back in NOV when the deals were SOOOOOOO good”! – René

  1. @Deltagoldlass – do what you think is best. For me, if I needed the MQMs, and could get them down to 3.5CPM or lower, and do two days back to back, and keep my all in with positioning UNDER 4CPM ALL-IN, yes. I like to see an ALL-IN under 3.5 with positioning cost if I can. It is nice run!

  2. Yeah! I’ve been wanting to do a long weekend in SFO in December anyway. I’m only an hour and a half drive from MKE. Thanks!

  3. Rene – I waas just thinking this the other day and this post reminded me, can you (perhaps as a Rookie Wednesday post) do a stand along post on Matrix website searching? You usually mention it as part of a mileage run post, but maybe a “basic to advanced” post on the codes you use, links you click, etc. Have found stuff on Flyer Talk, but find your style and explanations so much easier to follow.
    Thanks!

  4. @Levi – I love those kind of suggestions! While I am NO PRO at all with Matrix I will post what I know and others can help us both. Thanks – Rene
