YUCK! Please, if you are on the road, drive slow and look way ahead of you and check your mirrors. If it gets too bad, pull off the highway to a coffee shop and take a 15 minute break. You will still arrive on time and hopefully safe. If you are flying, be sure to keep checking with Delta, maybe on your Delta Fly App, for flight changes and delays!
Right now all the airports are looking on time and Delta has offered up no free weather changes to any cities or states. I think this may change, but either way be pro-active and have alternate routes in mind. Keep this post in mind of what Delta will do for you when it is a weather issue.
Another one you may have missed has to do with restricted baggage to several places world wide as late as 16JAN2014. The list of locations is:

- Guadalajara, Mexico (GDL)
- Bogotá, Colombia (BOG)
- Caracas, Venezuela (CCS)
- Guatemala City, Guatemala (GUA)
- Manila, Philippines (MNL)
- Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ)
- Quito, Ecuador (UIO)
- San Salvador, El Salvador (SAL)
- San Pedro Sula, Honduras (SAP)
- Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (SDQ)
- Tegucigalpa, Honduras (TGU)
I reached out to Delta and even if you are an elite Medallion flyer these restrictions STILL APPLY to you so keep them in mind when packing!
