Delta rollover mqms delta points blog

Well we can all now take a deep breath again as rollover MQMs have started to post. My guess is, as in years past, DM will be the first to see the numbers followed by the rest of the medallions.

Oh and as you can see and as I alluded to in this morning’s post MQD exempt spending is updating and not just once a month more like once a week or more and results are good!

I really applaud Delta IT on this one as it was much faster than I expected. Delta promised by the end of the month and to me mid-month is job well done! – René

  1. I have 91,709 MQMs from 2013 (~11,000 MQMs rollover from 2012). The 2014 MQM shows 16,709 MQMs as rollover from 2013. Is this correct ?

When does the MQD Card spend post? I purchased two tickets over the last two weeks and it still shows 0 – but the rollover miles posted today… Do I have to wait to take the flights before the MQD spend post?

  5. My 160 points rolled over. 75,160 last year. Just glad I made PM.

  6. @RT: 91,709 – 75,000 = 16,709. So, yes, this is correct.
    Congrats on being Platinum!
I’m only a Silver Medallion, so I’ll have to wait a little bit longer to see my Rollover MQMs being posted. Expecting a little less than 6k.

  7. I’m only GM and my rollovers showed up today also.
On a separate note, I see that the card spend is tracking pretty well, not waiting for statement dates to update. Well on my way to MQD exemption. (Nearly all of that total is Vanilla Reload buys.) Also I have successfully bought all four of my $50 eGift certs on my non-Delta AmEx Plat and had them all reimbursed, so that seems to be working this year also.

I don’t quite get it. Why are we saying “bravo” for something that should have shown up 15 days ago? Why isn’t this a simple equation? Surely it didn’t involve each account being manually reviewed/audited.

OK, I read the previous (linked) article that said they wait for all (which must mean everyone’s) 2013 activity to post.

  10. I was gold for 2013. I only had 61K MQMs and 72 segments last year, so was (sadly) only expecting Gold medallion again for 2014 (Gold being almost useless flying out of Atlanta every week).

However, on “My Skymiles Summary” I show current status as Gold, but my 2014 (Mar 01 2014 to Feb 28 2015) status shows as Platinum.

While I don’t want to argue with Delta, i was wondering if you’ve ever seen this before? My only conclusion would be that it was given to me since I had an incredibly high spend last year despite lower mileage/segments. I was booking last minute flights on popular routes every week at VERY high prices.

    Ideas?

  11. Good to see that it’s not just me. Obviously happy to have it and they did roll over my additional 11K miles from last year as well

A bit off subject but pertaining to credit cards. Do you know if Amex will be providing credits to its Delta Reserve cardholders due to the changes to Skyclub access?
