If you are flying in or out or through the east coast today or tomorrow you may want to just not do that as Delta has announced a weather advisory. Keep in mind when these weather events happen, Delta is very good about changes. Changes not just to days but routes as well. Let’s say you are coming back from Europe and connecting in any of the affected cites below:
- Allentown, PA (ABE)
- Baltimore, MD (BWI)
- Boston, MA (BOS)
- Harrisburg, PA (MDT)
- Hartford, CT (BDL)
- Manchester, NH (MHT)
- New York, NY – Kennedy (JFK)
- New York, NY – LaGuardia (LGA)
- Newark, NJ (EWR)
- Newburgh, NY (SWF)
- Philadelphia, PA (PHL)
- Providence, RI (PVD)
- Scranton, PA (AVP)
- Washington, DC – Dulles (IAD)
- Washington, DC – Reagan National (DCA)
- White Plains, NY (HPN)
Just work with Delta for another connecting city or more direct route (or less direct if you want for more points 😉 ) at no cost to you. If you are on hold too long think about @DeltaAssist or use, when open, the Asian calling centers (see E9).
I know some will try flying today and if you must fly for work just come prepared that you may get stuck somewhere you don’t want to be for many hours or even days! Travel safe everyone. – René
