sea - hkg open dates may

Once again a HT to reader Aaron who e-Mailed me to let me know about this one with many open dates in May and the numbers are just, well, amazing. I mean just look!

Cost $808

17,786 MQMs at 4.5CPM

Bookable on Delta.com & route via MSP both ways

❤ Washington residents be sure to check the Delta 2x promo & register as you could be talking 35,000+ MQMs and 80,000 RDMs for 1 trip! 🙂 thus this could be almost a NET-FREE trip. * EDIT: As reader Josh points out check the route you pick is 2x eligible.

DM yields 40,020 Skymiles per CWSI.net, PM & GM 36,706 and FO 22,942.

Note you do overnight in HKG and get only a few hours sleep before the return. This is a lot of time on Delta jets!

  1. Per the terms and conditions of the Washington 2X MQM deal, it is only on flights that originate or end in Seattle. So, in this case only SEA-MSP and MSP-SEA would be eligible for 2x MQM. However, the flights in this example SEA-MSP and vice versa are operated by Alaska Airlines so they don’t qualify.

I saw some sub-$700 fares on the new direct SEA-HKG route that starts in June. For someone looking to take advantage of the 2X MQM offer, that is a much better option.

  3. @Josh – txs for that. Even a lower starting yield can result in much higher final rewards with those carefully picked segments!

  7. I will Rene and share them with you. I actually booked the trip from your sample legs as that was all that worked for my schedule. Now I just hope some or MRers will join me.
