I am pleased to announce that once again American Express is an advertising partner with DeltaPoints.com resuming a relationship since the blog began almost 3 years ago.

I want to thank American Express for all their help and support of the blog. Delta Air Lines has a strong and historic partnership with American Express as well as with their co-branded travel cards. You can find some of the latest offers in the “Travel and Point Cards” tab here on the blog.

To celebrate this great news, tomorrow, as part of my weekly giveaway on the blog, I will have something VERY special to offer to one reader via Random.org. You see the Delta Reserve American Express card, once you spend $30,000 and again at $60,000 in qualifying purchases allows the card holder to either keep 15,000 bonus MQMs or give them to anyone they want. I want to give my 15,000 MQMs to a reader!

I also want to thank all the readers who have supported the blog all these years! It means the world to me – René

  1. I used your link two days ago for the Platinum Delta card. I hope you get credit for it!

  2. Congrats Rene, glad to see Amex got back to it’s senses and came back to Delta Points. I too used your link two days ago for the Platinum Delta card!

  3. Amex probably doesn’t realize that you are part of their customer service team. You are able to help resolve problems when Amex forgets to listen. Congrats!

  4. Awesome news, thought it was happening. You can leave me out of the drawing please just wanted to say hi and glad they are back and to thank you again for all of the info and guidance. I’m assuming the links are hot somewhere? Mrs. Graydon needs the Reserve card (you know – for lounge access wink wink) and perhaps to transfer me the MQMs earned. I’ll gift her some Delta status soon as she could care a less. I have a big project coming up and can make the max spend on new card no problem before year end.

  5. Well done Rene. Keep up the good work.
Those 15K MQM’s would put me over Platinum!
Oh, and politely ask DAL to keep retiring the CRJ 200’s.

  6. Coming from Florida, I always end up flying Delta. Would enjoy the 15,000 MQM’s. Keep up the good work!

  7. Deltapoints is the first site I go to on a daily basis. First on my list followed by deltamileagerun.

    Thanks.

  8. First, congrats!

Thanks to you and others, I finally dumped my non-awards Amex.

15k MQM! Whew! That is very generous of you. It would put me within spitting distance of Silver for the first…time…ever! Woo-hoo! Okay, I can’t celebrate yet.

    Good luck to all.

  9. Congrats Rene. Keep up the good work.
Is there a way on the blog that us mileage runners can connect before we go on a run.
I have 2 runs to Sweden coming up in the next 2 months and I would love to find out if other readers are doing the same so we can go out for a few drinks while in Goteborg and Stockholm. One run is out on AF airbus 380 and returning on KLM 747.( for less than $550). Leave on Friday return on Sunday. But hey there are worse ways to spend your weekend.

  10. @Dennis – humm maybe. I could do like we did with the meetup and make a PVT post and only give the password out to those on the runs? I would do it on the other blog. Let me think on it an see what others say! Txs – Rene

  11. @rick i – You BET! If you need the MQMs that is! Sure. And thank you for the warm thoughts my friend. (but random.org does not pick favorites just so you know) 😉

  12. Thanks Rene for your blog. I love Delta and my reserve card, probably wouldn’t have gotten it if I didn’t read your articles. Lots of great info!
