Here is another one from the pages of NO NO NO and NO WAY EVER (unless I am using GU certs that is). However we are talking a BOATLOAD of all kinds of points and if you only have time to fly over the holiday long weekend this could net you MAX 25k with some work and routes. HT to reader Dakota for email me this one (he found 3.9CPM but I can not for some reason). Anyway, here is what I found:

Cost $834

19,593 MQMs at 4.3CPM

Bookable on Delta.com

DM yields a CRAZY 44,085 Skymiles per CWSI.net!

Oh, before you book this, do notice you land in SIN at just after midnight Saturday and then start flying home a few hours later. You are basically living on Delta jets Thursday, Friday & Saturday ALL DAY. OY! BTW having issues searching in ITA Matrix try switch  dl+ /f bc=v

  1. If you depart on December 1st, and return on December 4th, you can find the 3.9CPM. Make sure you find the route through MSP each way (LAX-MSP-NRT-SIN). Should come out to $848.00 total, and yield 21,628 MQM.

  3. @Dakota – Again HUGE txs for the email and tip. I really tried to do what you showed just can’t get it. Ah well, I think for some who are working the holiday run would be best-ish 😉

  5. I did this run last year for $760. Close to 36 hours in coach was painful. But needed the MQM’s to retain platinum status. I stayed 2 nights which is recommended so you can rest a bit for the flight back. I stayed at the intercontinental which is in a great location and close to some of the nicer attractions in town.

  7. This also works in reverse, SIN to LAX roundtrip for about $880 on selected days through spring. I booked one of the JFK/Milan Skyteam mistake fares to Singapore and have been trying to find a good deal back to the US. Eastbound from SIN the most lucrative deal appears to be SIN/NRT/SEA/HNL/LAX, basically a Hawaiian pure mileage run embedded in a trans-Pacific vacation run. Westbound LAX/SEA/HNL/NRT/SIN is possible on a few limited days, it brings the cpm down to levels similar to routing through MSP, but elites on the HNL segment might get upgraded or be able to use an RPU. (You can also stopover in HNL for $200, or PVG for free on a mixed Skyteam ticket). Total cost was $894 with the Honolulu routings eastbound in November and westbound in February. Redeemable miles for the 2015 itinerary are a pittance compared to November’s of course.
