Boy, Delta is getting WAY out in front of this one, folks. While I have lost just about all my respect for the Delta Skymiles team and MGT, the weather people know their stuff and I would pay attention and make adjustments if you are flying this Thursday or Friday the 12th or 13th as they have posted on Delta.com:
- Boston , MA (BOS)
- Hartford, CT (BDL)
- Manchester, NH (MHT)
- New York, NY – Kennedy (JFK)
- New York, NY – LaGuardia (LGA)
- Newark, NY (EWR)
- Newburgh, NY (SWF)
- Providence, RI (PVD)
- White Plains, NY (HPN)
Always remember, look at ALL the legal routes by searching for tickets from A-B. You may want to add some stops and earn some more MQMs via better routing (Skymiles earned will NOT change as they are spend based, but MQMS are distance based still). When you find the PERFECT flights, call Delta and have them change you FREE to those. Travel safe everyone and don’t get stuck sleeping in airports! – René

NOT AGAIN!!!!!
Have to give Delta props for this. I have an AA award booked for Friday from Boston and so far nada despite a storm being forecast for a few days now.
@Gaurav – Agreed. Delta should move the weather folks to Skymiles! 😉
