Gosh this one is cheap but it comes with a bunch of negatives that may just make it a pass. Still, if you can not get 10,000 MQMs with your 1st dollar charged on a new Delta AMEX Reserve card this one for over 9k is not a bad deal to consider. Here are the warnings:

You have to overnight to get lowest prices with a somewhat crummy long-ish layover time in SJU. You could maybe sleep at the airport, or even in a rental car and sleep in that cheap, according to this FlyerTalk post, or spend too much money for a few hours in a hotel.

Also, notice this run includes LAX-JFK as part of the best route. Unless you are PM or DM and can attempt to upgrade with a RU cert you are going to be stuck in coach on the longest leg. But, if you can UG, then you are enjoying DeltaONE for it. Just keep that in mind.

Oh, also HT to FlyerTalk for this find:

Cost $279

9,144 MQMs at 3CPM

Bookable on Delta.com (via JFK & LAX for best CPM).

We are only a few months away from the end of the flying year. Keep in mind it is normally much harder finding this low a CPM flight in December when you realize you are a few MQMs short of your elite goal for the year! – Rene
