This really is a sweet promotion, but not everyone can get it as they openly point out. I was targeted with THIS select member exclusive link.
The really nice part is I can, if I want, only stay two nights and get at least 1 free night cert.
When you think of value this is also a big deal. CAT 5 SPG hotels are not cheap in dollar or points value so this kind of promotion is one I will go for.
Now my wife, who was not targeted, got a rock sad to say. I have no idea if you also will get a rock but for a few seconds of your time you can put in your SPG number and find out.
If you were NOT targeted, then do consider either the SPG personal AMEX card as well as / or the SPG business AMEX card as new card members can get 25,000 bonus points after meeting the minimum spend. – Rene

I wish I got that targeted bonus. Mine is 3k points for every 3 stays up to 9k points. I stay a lot, but for consecutive nights. Wish this was per night!
Mine is 25% off an award reservation after SIX revenue stays (not nights) by the end of the year, and that 25% off is only good for 4-night stays at up-to-cat-5 hotels, so no stacking with 5th-night-free. Talk about a disapointment!
I guess this is the downside for being such an SPG loyalist. They have no incentive to sweeten the pot for me.
I’m getting that the promotion has come to an end when I try to enter my SPG number.
I went there, but it told my I was “not eligible” for this promotion.

Hmm…on my wife’s account I got not eligible but on my account I received a “Something went wrong, so we couldn’t process your request” instead and the instructs me to contact support.
