Thank you Delta. I really mean this from the bottom of my heart! There are two things that always make me CRAZY when I have to call Delta. The first one is the fact that when you call in you have to choose 1 or 2, to either accept or decline, to take “a one question survey at the end of the call“. Delta at LONG LAST seems to have dumped this forced choice as now it just says “stay on the line if you want to take part after your call“. That is a #KeepClimbing change in my book. Now the second thing I hate is reps asking if all my hotels and car rentals are all set as I would never ever book that over the phone anyway!
Most times schedule change Saturdays involve Delta partner airlines. However, today I found a change to a mainline trip into next year (February 2016). Anyway, I am sure all Renés Points readers have come to know that checking all your flights at least once a week for changes is just a smart idea as it is hit or miss if Delta will tell you something is up. 😉
I doubt you need me to tell you about #Patricia if you are in the path for the downpour on the way for much of the south. But you may want to check the Delta weather waiver in place for today and tomorrow’s travel and see if it impacts you. My guess is it will expand over the coming days!
The last one is just another PSA or reminder for folks to PLEASE not be as “dumb” as this guy on Ebay. Delta takes a very dim view of you selling your medallion perks or anything Delta related like vouchers etc. for a profit. I truly value my Diamond status and am not stupid enough to sell a perk this way that could result in my being kicked out of SkyMiles for life. Again, don’t be “that” guy – please!
