Hey Salt Lake, you are going to Florida this weekend just like Seattle (just other coast) if you are 5k short of MQMs and don’t want to go the AMEX CC route then you will be going to the airport tomorrow morning (or Sunday or Monday) and then having dinner on the Atlantic ocean and then breakfast by the beach before you fly home Sunday night.

Again, not unhappy with this price for such a good route and price with a flight leaving tomorrow. Weekend upgrade chances can normally be very good but with the holiday next week who knows.

Anyway here are the numbers:

Cost: $334 (before possible 10-12% off discount)

5,664 MQMs at 5.9CPM

I have included the Google Flights or Kayak links and for those of you new to this, 1st log in to your SkyMiles account and THEN you click the above links and it will, after you choose flights, send them over to Very simple! – René

  1. Finally! One for us poor Salt Lake City folks! too bad i’m already on a flight during this one, but thanks for posting! always great to see things for us.

  2. @Brian – Do you still need another before year end? There are some good ones from SLC on the 24th and 25th if you open to that!

  3. I’m 18k from Diamond. Just going to let it roll over. On the very verge of dropping my loyalty to delta though, with what I see coming.. seriously looking into Alaska or American, however, nothing beats the service/quality of Delta, just wish they would treat us better in the medallion program..

  4. I AM however, taking my wife to rome and back through venice in April in 1st class and would be happy to blog about it as a guest post if you would like. Delta metal except 1 leg (KLM)
