I love that more and more folks are coming up with their own rewards programs. It shows that points, rewards or whatever are still a great driving force to motivate buyer behavior (unless you keep devastating the program, Delta – mini-rant over). Well now Carrabbas has a new one along with the other partner restaurants that can save you money if you dine 4x over a 6 month period.
All you have to do is first sign up here for the rewards program and you will, over the next few days, get a $5 off coupon in email. Then, as long as you spend at least $20 on food 3 times over 6 months, you get:
$20 off if you spend at least $40 during the fourth visit on food (sorry gift cards and drinks are not included). Still, a very nice value and offer if you frequent Carrabbas or their partners.
And this can get better if you hurry and have not used your AMEX OFFERS TO YOU that is set to expire on the 5th of this month that is if you register you can get $10 off $25 spend. If you are not using these offers to help offset your annual fee for your AMEX cards you are really missing out. Most who complain about card annual fees, when I ask them, are not playing along. Sad!
Here is how it how I will work the for max advantage. I will go in and buy a bunch of gift cards on my registered AMEX cards for the cash back. I will NOT get Carrabbas Rewards for these but I will then use them to dine the same day.
Since I have already singed up for the program, and downloaded the APP, I have added the following codes in the APP to get even more off, that is, DINNER15 and LUNCH15 to get 15% off my visit. Then pay with the gift cards. Get credit for my dine and only need two more to get the bonus of $20 off on my fourth visit.
Bottom line, I love the fact that with a tiny bit of work you can enjoy spots you already frequent and save and earn as much as you can! – René
