If you have been thinking about trying out the new PS seats, this could be a nice way to do so at a discounted SkyMiles price (normally 99,000 round trip per the blog / user published Delta SkyMiles award charts for a level 1 award)!

Now keep in mind the number of A350 flights is limited so finding flights that will work for you make take some work. Need help booking or finding the perfect award flights – don’t forget about asking ADAM! – René

No “sale” on day 1 flight! 🙁

PS – You are NOT going to find this sale price for the inaugural A350 flight sad to say!

  2. Just read a Gary Leff article that says delta is thinking of adding $500 each way surcharge. Did you find that to be the case?

Obviously, Delta’s premium-select product isn’t selling for the early weeks and Delta doesn’t want empty seats.

  6. Am I right that this would not earn MQMs?
When I reset to try Pay With Miles, my 80k flash sale dates turns into a cost 250k.

    • @RossKoh – Award tickets, and Miles & Cash tickets, do NOT earn MQMs. Yes, PWM or Pay With Miles does but as you point out will cost you a little bit more!

  7. Rene–what’s your take on row 20 on the A350? Normal caveats? Sweating my choice…

    • @Keith – Will let you know. One one of the directions I am in that row (but not for the other).
