With Tropical Storm Dorian possibly becoming Hurricane Dorian, Delta Air Lines has issued a weather waiver for several more islands.

This weather waiver is in effect for August 30 & 31 for the following airports:
  • Georgetown, Bahamas (GGT)
  • Marsh Harbour, Bahamas (MHH)
  • Nassau, Bahamas (NAS)
  • Providenciales, Turks and Caicos (PLS)

Tickets must be reissued on or before September 7, with rebooked travel commencing no later than the 7th as well.

Passengers may make a one-time change to their respective itineraries without being assessed a fee, though fare differences may apply.

This follows another Delta weather waiver in effect through August 29 for several other airports.

Something tells me we’ll see weather waivers for Florida before long.

Visit the weather waiver’s alert for more information and learn more in general about Delta weather waivers.

  2. @anthony skoda: My pleasure! My dad was a TV weatherman for a few years while I was growing up, so I actually enjoy writing them!
