Delta just added more US mainland cities to Hurricane Dorian travel weather waiver group and extended ticket reissues and travel dates by an extra day.

The new cities are Ft. Myers (RSW), Sarasota/Bradenton (SRQ), Tallahassee (TLH), and Tampa (TPA).

Additionally, the mothership moved reticketing and travel deadlines to September 10.

So this brings the cumulative list to:

Florida

  • Daytona Beach (DAB)
  • Ft. Lauderdale (FLL)
  • Ft. Myers (RSW)
  • Jacksonville (JAX)
  • Melbourne (MLB)
  • Miami (MIA)
  • Orlando (MCO)
  • Sarasota/Bradenton (SRQ)
  • Tallahassee (TLH)
  • Tampa (TPA)
  • West Palm Beach (PBI)

Georgia

  • Brunswick (BQK)
  • Valdosta (VLD)

This waiver currently pertains to Delta Air Lines travel through these airports from September 1-4.

Travelers with itineraries involving these airports may make a one-time change to their bookings without being charged a change fee. Fare differences may apply, though.

Tickets must be reissued on or before September 10. Rebooked travel must begin no later than September 10.

Visit the weather waiver’s alert for more information and learn more in general about Delta weather waivers.

Don’t forget that Delta also capped fares from a number of Caribbean cities earlier today.

  1. Daytona is DAB 🙂

Thanks for posting this, my husband has a flight out of DAB on tuesday or wednesday so we’ll probably have to get that changed

  2. @alex: Thanks for pointing that out! Darn “D” and “F” next to each on the keyboard + hurried typing = “FAB.”

Good luck with your husband’s travels!
