
UPDATED: Please See “More Hurricane Dorian Travel Weather Waivers Just Issued by Delta“
With Hurricane Dorian building strength, Delta added several Florida and Georgia cities to its weather travel waiver list.
Affected airports are:
Florida
- Daytona Beach (DAB)
- Ft. Lauderdale (FLL)
- Jacksonville (JAX)
- Melbourne (MLB)
- Miami (MIA)
- Orlando (MCO)
- West Palm Beach (PBI)
Georgia
- Brunswick (BQK)
- Valdosta (VLD)
This waiver currently pertains to Delta Air Lines travel through these airports from September 1-4.
Travelers with itineraries involving these airports may make a one-time change to their bookings without being charged a change fee. Fare differences may apply, though.
Tickets must be reissued on or before September 9. Rebooked travel must begin no later than September 9.

Delta Caps Fares for Caribbean Airports Affected by Hurricane Dorian
Delta also announced they capped certain fares for customers with travel beginning or ending in the Caribbean cities listed in a couple of previous Dorian waivers. Per Delta, “These fares are listed on delta.com between $299 and $399 in the Main Cabin and between $499 and $599 in the forward cabin.”
Caribbean waiver one, in effect through today, August 29:
- Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ)
- Port-au-Prince, Haiti (PAP)
- San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU)
- Santiago, Dominican Republic (STI)
- Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (SDQ)
- St. Lucia (UVF)
Caribbean waiver two, in effect August 30-31:
- Georgetown, Bahamas (GGT)
- Marsh Harbour, Bahamas (MHH)
- Nassau, Bahamas (NAS)
- Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands (PLS)
Fares have also been capped for:
- North Eleuthera, Bahamas (ELH)
- Freeport, Bahamas (FPO)
