I’m on a trip right now and about to try Delta’s new international experience. Will I be “Wow”ed, as they predict? We’ll see. I’ll write about it during the coming week. In the meantime, here’s what happened earlier this week.

Prior to leaving, I wrote this post about some of the Delta purchases that did and didn’t credit back as airline incidentals.

Delta is selling MQM again. For the love of all that is good, please don’t bite.

René kicked off the week with a discussion of the Fly Delta app — if you can downgrade, the differences between iOS and Android versions, and more.

The A220 has received some negative attention lately. I asked if this could be Airbus’ Boeing 737 MAX experience.

I gave readers a peek into my wallet and the credit cards I’m using this month.

On the topic of credit (and charge) cards, be sure to check your American Express cards for a nice dining offer Amex is running right now, rewarding you $10 for spending $10 at participating local restaurants.

Speaking of money: don’t forget to take advantage of the $50 bonus when opening a SoFi Money Account. As I wrote, I initially was skeptical — but have grown to really like SoFi.

Vegas visitors: watch out for the CNF fee that some restaurants and bars hope you won’t notice.

Whoops? A hijack alarm was accidentally triggered at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport this week.

Finally, here are the top ten posts Rene’s Points visitors last month read most.
