If you’re a traveler who’s clumsy and/or accident-prone (like me), you must have two vital essentials:

Amazon has several travel medical kits discounted during Cyber Monday (of course they do) — but this one, in particular, seems fairly attractive.

Currently priced at $13.36 (21% off its $16.82 MSP) the First Aid Only All-Purpose soft case kit is a #1 best seller with an average 4.5-star rating (4440 reviews!).

A travel medical kit is something you don’t think you’ll ever need — until, y’know, you actually need it. (Been there. Done that.) And frankly, for just over 13 bucks, it saves you the time of gathering all these supplies yourself.

It contains Band-Aids, sterile wipes, gauze pads, and scissors.

The kit sizes out to 9.5″ x 7.25,” and should be carryon friendly (though some security officers may want to see the scissors).

  1. There are misinformed airport security personnel in various countries and even in the U.S. who will want to remove the scissors from the medical kit to at least inspect them. I’ve had round-tipped scissors confiscated in China and Kenya and been hassled about them on other occasions.
