Best Buy is running a promotion some Delta flyers may enjoy: buy at least $250 worth of Delta Air Lines gift cards and receive a free $25 Best Buy gift card.
This could be a decent deal for people who need to purchase upcoming air travel with Delta — and also regularly shop at Best Buy (or can gift the Best Buy card to someone who does).
From what I can tell, the offer is valid through BestBuy.com only. (I’ll link to the promotion in a few paragraphs.) In other words, in-store purchases aren’t available.
BestBuy.com is selling Delta gift cards in the following denominations:
Remember that Delta gift cards earn full SkyMiles (based on the member’s tier), MQM, MQS, and MQD. Plus, they don’t expire.
Begin Your Shopping Session Through a Cashback Portal
Cashback portal merchants generally don’t award anything on gift card purchases. (Except for vendors such as Gift Card Mall, GiftCards.com, etc.)
That being said, it still doesn’t hurt to start your shopping session through a cashback portal. I occasionally get some surprise cashback when buying gift cards. FWIW, I generally have the best luck with Rakuten in these situations.
So log into Rakuten, select Best Buy, and begin your shopping session. Search BestBuy.com for “Delta gift card” and go from there.
Or once you’re on BestBuy.com, click this link to visit the promotion’s page.
Remember to Stack with the Best Buy Amex Offer!
There are a couple of different Best Buy Amex Offers floating around right now:
- Spend $300 receive 3000 Membership Rewards points
- Spend $300 receive $30 statement credit
This Delta gift card promotion will earn you at least $250 toward that $300 minimum.
