If you dumped your Chase Sapphire Reserve (or plan to) consider this: the rebooted American Express Green Card‘s (which matches the CSR’s bonus categories) limited time offer ends tomorrow night, January 15.
UPDATE: OFFER EXPIRED. Please see the current offer.
The current welcome offer gives you up to $100 in statement credit towards any eligible purchase made directly with travel and lifestyle designer Away during your first three months of card membership.
That’s the offer expiring tomorrow night. Nothing too seismic.
The $150 annual fee card will still offer:
- 30,000 Membership Rewards points after you spend only $2,000 within three months of being approved.
- Up to $100 per year in statement credit when you use the American Express Green Card to pay for your CLEAR membership.
- Up to $100 annually on Lounge Buddy purchases
- No foreign transaction fees
- Terms apply
Granted, it doesn’t have the 1.5 cents/point redemption perk the CSR offers (when booking travel through the Chase Ultimate Rewards site), $300 travel credit, or Priority Pass Select membership. But if those perks don’t matter and you’re looking to save money on annual fees, give the American Express Green Card a gander.
