A new, targeted Amex Offer gives cardholders the chance to save 10% on select Lowe’s purchases — up to $100 in statement credit! (In other words, spend $1000, get $100 in Amex statement credit.)
Even if you’re not a handy person or don’t need anything home improvement-wise, you still can save money!
Here’s how:
The offer states:
“Get 10% back as a statement credit by using your enrolled Business Card on eligible purchases in-store at Lowe’s or online at Lowes.com or LowesforPros.com by 6/30/2020. Limit of $100 in total statement credits. See terms for exclusions.”
You’ll earn 10% back on each eligible Lowe’s purchase until you’ve reached $100 in statement credits. So you can do it all at once or break it up into several purchases through June!
Again, this is a statement credit offer. So if you’re new to Amex Offers, be aware you won’t receive an instant discount at the register. The savings is applied to your Amex account within a few days.
Targeted for Business Cards?
All of my business American Express cards were targeted:
- Business Platinum Card from American Express
- Delta Reserve for Business Card from American Express
- Platinum Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card from American Express
- Gold Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card from American Express
None of my personal cards received the offer.
Veterans and Active Duty Military Members: Stack with Your 10% Discount!
United States military service members and honorably discharged veterans receive 10% off eligible purchases at Lowe’s.

So if you spend, say, $100 and receive a 10% military discount, that knocks it down to $90. Your Amex Offer saves you 10% off ($9) that amount. A $100 item could end up costing you only $81!
Gift cards are excluded from military discounts, however. And there are a number of other exclusions (coupons, promotions, etc.)
American Express also waives annual fees for active-duty military members and their spouses.
Happy shopping and saving!
