Delta Air Lines issued a weather travel waiver today for two major Chicagoland airports.

A winter storm is predicted to slam into the Windy City this week, potentially affecting travel on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Delta proactively announced a waiver in effect for February 25 and February 26.

Tickets must be reissued on or before February 29 (it’s a leap year!), with rebooked travel commencing no later than February 29, as well.

Passengers may make a one-time change without being assessed a fee, though fare differences may apply.

Visit the weather waiver’s alert for more information and learn about how Delta weather waivers work in general.
