Coronavirus impact slammed into Japan today, with a major theme park temporarily closing and United Airlines cutting some service.
Those are some of the day’s travel news headlines I came across and thought you, too, may find interesting. (Today’s post will be fairly brief — I’m on a flight and the Gogo inflight wifi is awful.)
United Airlines announced today the suspension of some service to Japan and reduction of other flights to the Land of the Rising Sun due to the coronavirus outbreak. Will Delta follow suit?
Meanwhile, Tokyo Disneyland announced it’s closing for two weeks.
A guest who got into a fight at Disneyland California was sentenced to six months in jail. Not Disneyland jail — but the real kind.
A United flight from the Bahamas to Newark was diverted after a passenger’s laptop battery “exploded” inflight.
