Delta flight attendants purportedly gave disinfecting wipes to some passengers — but not others.

Report: Delta Flight Attendants Held Disinfectant Wipes from Some Passengers
A woman on Twitter says Delta flight attendants refused to give disinfecting wipes to “economy class” passengers on her mother’s Saturday night flight from MSP to Winnipeg.
My 68 year old mother was on a flight last night trying to get home to Canada; they were passing out disinfectant wipes until they got to the last 7 rows. When passengers asked if they too could have some they were told “THE WIPES ARE NOT FOR ECONOMY CLASS” shame on you @Delta

Ms. McDonough says her “mother isn’t prone to exaggeration or lying.” Another user suggested perhaps the exchange was an attempt at (dark) humor.
As for this “last (seven) rows” and “economy class” business, the only thing I can think is that maybe there was some Basic Economy passenger shaming taking place? (H/T: Idaho Reporter)

Stateside, the US government currently has no such plans.

A Sad Prop-osition
The tough economic times have forced De Havilland Aircraft of Canada to suspend production of the Dash 8-400 turboprop. Viking Air is also affected and temporarily shuttered its Twin Otter Series 400 production.

This is Karen complaining. Bring your own wipes like everyone else. People need to start taking responsibility for their own health and not just leave it up to someone else.
