The plan, however, is subject to approval from local and state officials.

Downtown Disney will reopen on July 9, while Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Paradise Pier Hotel hope to welcome guests back on July 23.

In a statement posted on the Disney Parks Blog, Disneyland Resort’s Public Relations Director Michael Ramirez noted, “theme park capacity will be significantly limited to comply with governmental requirements and promote physical distancing, the Disneyland Resort will manage attendance through a new theme park reservation system that will require all guests, including Annual Passholders, to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance.”
Details on the new reservation system aren’t currently available.
