Here’s something that may appeal to some music lovers. A Pandora Amex Offer offers a one-time statement credit of $9.99 to current and new subscribers!
The offer was available on all my American Express cards (both personal and business), so it doesn’t appear targeted.
The Pandora Amex Offer buys you either a month of their “Premium” package or two months of the “Plus” plan.
You’ll notice the paid subscriptions each have free trials. Amex explicitly states in the offer, “If you are a new customer receiving a free trial, you may not be charged until the free trial period has lapsed.” So, make sure to sign up by mid-to-late October for the Premium package or mid-to-late November for the Plus package.
(I’m not an expert when it comes to Spotify, Pandora, and stuff like that. I have Apple Music and a pretty decent music collection, so that holds me pretty well.)
Keep in mind that Pandora also qualifies for the Platinum Card from American Express‘ monthly streaming statement credit (which may stack with this offer, actually). If you don’t have the Amex Platinum card, and sign up for the Plus package before July 30, consider switching your payment over to your Chase Sapphire Reserve (10X) or Chase Sapphire Preferred (5X) before the Chase streaming promotion ends on September 30.
Stack with Airline Shopping Portals?
I didn’t see any cashback opportunities for Pandora through the usual suspects (i.e., TopCashback, Rakuten, BeFrugal, etc.). But you may as well get some Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles or JetBlue points for your Pandora purchase.
