American Express announced more statement credits for new cardmembers of two no annual fee Amex business products!
Starting today, folks who applying and approved for The Blue Business Cash Card and/or The Blue Business Plus Credit Card are eligible to receive $300 in statement credits across three different merchants:
- Dell Technologies ($100)
- FedEx ($100)
- DocuSign ($100)
Eligible purchases must be made within three months of being approved.
The Dell credit is pretty attractive. Dell sells more than its own computer products, so this can help you stock up on electronic gear, cables, etc.
You might think you won’t use the FedEx credit. Trust me: last-minute shipping emergencies come up. (“I forgot to send Mom a gift!”)
The DocuSign is interesting for certain business owners, I guess.
The Blue Business Cash Card from American Express
In addition to the $300 statement credit welcome bonus, Blue Business Cash Card from American Express cardholders earn 2% cashback on all eligible purchases on up to $50,000 per calendar year. (After $50,000 is reached, then it drops to 1%.)

Plus, there’s currently a 0.0% intro APR on purchases for 12 months from the date of account opening.
The Blue Business Plus Credit Card from American Express
The Blue Business Plus Credit Card from American Express is similar to the Cash version. The difference is you earn Membership Rewards points instead of cashback. 2X Membership Rewards points are awarded on all eligible purchases up to $50,000. Then it drops to 1X for every dollar after that.

This card also offers a 0.0% intro APR on purchases for 12 months from the date of account opening.
Final Approach
When it comes to welcome offers, I’m more interested in bonus points or cash back. But statement credits at designated merchants are fine right now — especially for no annual fee cards like these.
