Are you looking to save a few bucks on take-out food or beverages this week? Check out this offer from Uber Eats!

Use promo code MORNING5 to save $5 off your pick-up order of $10 or more through Friday, September 18. You can use the promo up to five times this week! Update: we’re hearing reports that some restaurants may not be eligible for the discount.

The $10 minimum is your food and beverage subtotal — so exclusive of taxes, tips, and other charges.

The promotion seems to be a “morning pick-me-up” sort of deal. But people’s schedules are different — and there don’t appear to be any time-of-day restrictions for the offer.

Use Uber Eats promo code MORNING5 for pick-up orders of $10 or more.

If you’re new to Uber Eats, start your order through Rakuten. That portal awards 9% cashback for new Uber Eats users.

But if you have an existing Uber Eats account, consider going through DO$H, which gives you 5% cashback. (Rakuten, FWIW, awards 4%.)

This is also an excellent opportunity for Platinum Card from American Express members to stretch their monthly Uber Cash deposit.

Or make sure to use a credit card that awards your dining and food delivery purchases:

  1. This appears to be a targeted offer. A few people in the office tried this and no one got it to work.

  2. I tried the MORNING5 for Panda Express, was notified that I was not eligible for the promo code (through UBER pickup). Any suggestions?

    • Yes! I love their orange chicken! 🙂 Seriously, though, perhaps some restaurants aren’t eligible? I’ll update the post accordingly, thanks for the heads-up.
