If you live in Miami (or can get there) and want to spend a bunch of time flying and in airports, you may want to roll the dice on this Delta elite mileage run to Las Vegas!
The route flies MIA-JFK-LAS-JFK-MIA. And you’ll have plenty of time to hang out at JFK. (Perhaps enjoy the new Centurion Lounge and the Delta Sky Club?) Your layover in Vegas is about five hours, so not really a whole lot of time to get in too much trouble 😉 . (Better luck next time?)
It yields 6,676 MQM and prices out to only $217.20 in Basic Economy. That’s about 3.3 CPM.
Delta is keeping middle seats open through at least January 6. So you’ll theoretically have at least one open seat next to you. (Main Cabin — for those wanting specific seats or shots at upgrades — runs $70 more.)
I see this available for a couple of weekends and weekdays — so if you want to do it, you should be able to make it work for your schedule.
Here’s a Google Flights link to get you started.
