An Instacart Amex Offer dropped today for certain Platinum and Centurion cardholders. The offer gives them the opportunity to save up to $100!

Cardholders who add the offer will receive a $50 statement credit when using their enrolled card to spend a minimum of $250 in one or more transactions either at Instacart.com or through the Instacart mobile app.

There’s a maximum of two statement credits (or a total of $100) that can be reached. The promotion is valid through June 30, 2021.

The offer is available only to Platinum Card from American Express (consumer/personal) and consumer and business Centurion American Express cardholders.

On top of that, your card’s membership must have been active since November 1, 2020, or earlier. So if you took advantage of the big, 75,000 bonus points welcome offer that launched in mid-November, you’re not eligible.

Keep in mind this should stack with the two months free trial of Instacart Express available to Mastercard holders.

Final Approach

I love the Instacart Amex Offer because it’ll help my family save on grocery and Costco deliveries. It’s sort of a bummer that the offer isn’t available to all American Express cardholders — or at least all Membership Rewards members — regardless of how long they’ve been an Amex customer.

But for those of us who use Instacart, it’s certainly a welcome promotion.

  1. I wonder if it also works for the Same Day delivery on the Costco app (powered by Instacart)?
