A new Amex Offer gives American Express cardholders an opportunity to enjoy the Peacock streaming service for essentially free during the next three months.
What is Peacock?
Peacock is the streaming service offered by NBCUniversal Media. It features a bunch of TV shows (such as The Office!) and movies (Casino and In Bruges, anyone?). My wife and mother-in-law loved its exclusive Steals and Deals exclusives during this past holiday season.
Peacock Amex Offer
The Peacock Amex Offer gives cardholders who add the promotion to their eligible card a $4.99 statement credit when using their card to spend at least $4.99 in a given month on Peacock.
The offer can be used three times (once each month) through March 31, 2021.
Peacock costs $4.99 a month for its Premium plan (with some commercials) or $9.99 for the ad-free option.
So if you opt for the Premium subscription, you basically get three months free of Peacock.
The Peacock Amex Offer was available on all of my consumer and business American Express cards — both co-branded and Amex-branded. I added it to my Blue Cash Preferred Card from American Express, which earns 6% cashback on streaming purchases.
Stack with Rakuten!
You may be eligible for a one-time cashback bonus of $6 when you sign up for Peacock through Rakuten. So you can pretty much make money combining the Peacock Amex Offer with the Rakuten bonus.
Yep. Get paid to watch TV. Livin’ the dream.

If you have Rakuten setup to earn Membership rewards points would this give back 6x points?
@Anthony – Yes. You will earn 600 MR points. I did just that for my buy.
