UPDATE: My points have already posted – that was FAST (see below)!

There are a lot of good and bad things that can be said about Hilton. My wife and I both have recently either applied for or upgraded our Hilton Amex cards (personal and business) and have a nice pile of points we plan to use during 2022.

Having said that, we are a few points short — but then got a nice reminder / promotional e-mail that anyone can (if they have not done it already) quickly score 10,000 bonus Hilton points by just completing one survey.

While it took me three tries to find a survey that worked out – my wife scored on her first one that took no more than a few minutes to complete.

So, since it is a Sunday and you have some free time, why not have everyone in the family score some free Hilton points? After all, Hilton does allow you to pool points all to one account.

Happy Sunday! – René

  1. thanks. are the surveys themselves Hilton-centric, or is this just part of one of the other survey groups (e-rewards, mypoints, etc?)

  2. Was all for it until they asked for date of birth. This is one of the top data points for fraud hackers. Pass

    • @Sam – The T&C says your name and Hilton number have to match – it does not say anything about your DOB matching (if you are THAT concerned about your DOB).

  3. The privacy policy is concerning to me. Tons about how they will use your PII, share w partners, etc. Very little about how the plan to protect your data. But boy do I love bonus points so I’m torn!

    • @Steve – Search your name on “True people search” and you will see how much data on you/us is out there.

      • Yep – well aware. Doesn’t mean I want to voluntarily add to it and increase the already high chance of my data getting compromised in yet another data breach though!

I only saw ones listed at a few hundred points, but tried one for the heck of it. In the end, it booted me and said I wasn’t eligible. I immediately unsubscribed from the service. But I did get an email saying I had completed my first survey and earned 10k bonus points. So, they didn’t seem to hold it against me that they didn’t want me to complete the survey. Odd. Let’s see if I actually get the 10k points.
