Delta Air Lines announced a great flash sale for select itineraries originating from Seattle (SEA).
It’s a buy-one, get-one (BOGO) offer and travel must be booked between now and Wednesday, April 8. Travel must start and be completed between April 13 and June 15, 2021.
The promotion is valid for trips from Seattle to other US destinations. However, the state of Hawaii, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico are not included.
And Delta says the flights to/from each destination must be non-stop. (So no connections that could turn it into a fun, whacky mileage run.) For example, SEA to LAX would work. SEA-MSP-LAX would not.
Both Main Cabin and Basic Economy tickets are eligible in fare classes K, L, U, T, X, V, or E.
The “primary” passenger (who pays the listed price) and “free” passenger must be on the same itinerary. Like the Delta Reserve Cards’ Companion Certificates, the “free” traveler is still on the hook for applicable taxes and fees.
Tickets are eligible for SkyMileage accrual — so the primary shoud earn the 50% bonus MQM and MQD Delta is offering through 2021.
There’s a promo code you must use to take advantage of the flash sale.

Final Approach
If you can find a Delta trip you want from Seattle — and it works with the Flash Sale’s specifications — this could save you and a companion some nice money and create a wonderful trip.
But hurry and book now.

Hey Chris…guessing it only works in one direction? Not trips TO Seattle, for example, from LAX?
Thanks.
Greg
Correct. Although, wouldn’t it be fun if Delta announced a flash sale like the one you mentioned? “Open Season to Seattle! Go! Go! Go!”
Thanks for mentioning it. I have always hated the companion certificates on the Amex cards. They exclude almost every fun destination that you’d want to take someone on. And this “sale” from Seattle only benefits people who live locally and want to go to New York for a weekend.
