Delta SkyMiles members living in Orlando (or who can get there) can snag over 6500 MQM in a single day during a mileage run to Los Angeles.
We found two available days: August 11 and August 24.
Here’s what the run looks like:
Delta awards 50% MQD, MQM, and MQS bonuses on Basic Economy and Main Cabin tickets flown during the rest of 2021. So those 4,434 MQM should become 6,651 MQM. The $164 MQD would end up being $246.
At the price of $204.80, that comes out to roughly 3.1 CPMQM!
You have about five hours to kill in LA between deplaning your first flight and boarding your second. That’s enough time for a walk over to In-N-Out, enjoying a burger and some fries, and experiencing some great planespotting.
Regardless of how you pay for your flight, you can use The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express to bop on over to the American Express Centurion Lounge LAX in the Tom Bradley International Terminal (hopefully, it’ll be fully open by then). If you pay for your trip with an American Express card, then Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card or Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card will get you into the Centurion.
Keep in mind there’s also a Delta Sky Club in Terminal 2.
