There are simply endless ways you can book this one and tons of flexibility depending on what is more important to you i.e. schedule and stops along the way or products. For example: You can include the KLM 787-10 You can include the new Delta A220-100 with new seats You can include the KLM 777 You can include the Delta A350 with Delta One Suites You can include the Delta 767-400 that “may” have the new seats by the end of 2019 You can include a KLM 747 (one day they will all be gone after all) Be sure to read up on the “how to find a run” link below to use all the ITA Matrix switches to find just the perfect run for you and the best price and schedule. If it is all to much for you consider using my friend ADAM and his team to book…

Wednesday, December 3, 2015 by John @laptoptravel Who doesn’t like a Business/First Class Elite Mileage Run? Look what I found for you today; It is a First Class Delta Air Lines itinerary from Dallas to Las Vegas. You have a single day when this fare is the lowest; Depart on Sunday, December 20th and return the next day, Monday. I really tried to make this work through Detroit both ways, but it just isn’t price-friendly using that route. So, let’s connect through Minneapolis on the outbound and we can still get the Detroit connection on the return.  You do have to spend a night in Las Vegas, but that can be cheap…or get another stay towards a hotel elite status you have/need. I recently stayed at a property in Vegas and they had a shuttle from the airport, a room rate  of $29 and also gave me a $20 dining…

Saturday, November 28, 2015 by John @laptoptravel Let me follow-up my last Mileage Run post (which was San Diego to San Juan) with another trip headed to the warm, sunny shores of San Juan, Puerto Rico. This may not have the same appeal for Californians as for those stuck in the harsher northern climates, but it is still MQM’s on the cheap. Perhaps many of you could reposition to Las Vegas to take advantage of this, or to San Diego to hop on that other Mileage Run starting from there and get your MQM’s in before the year’s end. Now, let us look at our second Mileage Run to San Juan. Again, Delta is being very difficult when it comes to pushing some fare prices through. I worked the numbers and had this fare down to $415 but Delta (again, like with my previous post) keeps tossing me out…

Here is why I just love this one despite being a bit higher priced CPM than I would like. You can do the run in a day and be back home to JFK either early or late or even red-eye and be ready to start the next run right away (if you are up for “that” kind of fun) that is do one run Saturday and another one Sunday and pick up almost 9K MQMs! You could have time to go in to town or just spend some quality time at the LAS Centurion Lounge time as well. Here are the numbers: Cost: $261 4,496 MQMs at 5.8CPM BTW I am going to spend my afternoon looking for Delta hub runs today. Yes, you are welcome and enjoy! 🙂 – Rene Don’t miss a single run. A friend was looking for a run out of Dallas so I took a peak. This one is not bad. For a while I could find at a slightly higher CPM DFW-MSP-LAS out and back the same day but that seems gone now. Frustrating. Anyway, this is not bad. Also note I am showing you first the Las Vegas one and in coach and in 1st class. The coach one is the lowest / best yield at just 3.3CPM but 5.5CPM in 1st class is very respectable as well. Lastly, if you would rather go to SFO you can do that for more MQMs and at a similar CPM of just 3.6 cents. Either way do use with ITA Matrix the switch “DL+ X:DTW” both ways to find the days that has these routes. Lastly, I am posting the run at $183 as I just can not find open space…

There are about a million ways you can work this one and I wanted to just get this up. There are other airports that you can start from like LAX, PHX & SAN and still get about the same prices. You CAN work it FROM DFW as well. This one is wide open and worth working on and you can drive it SUB-4CPM (almost to 3CPM from DFW via CVG) depending on if you want just cheap or just more Centurion Lounge time in LAS or DFW 🙂 Here are some coach numbers with MAX time in DFW from LAS: Cost $183 4,303 MQMs at 4.3CPM Bookable on Delta.com Again, just look at all the options. I am working on booking one of these (weekdays) in May sometime as this could be a fun run! Gold-Platinum-Reserve Delta SkyMiles® Credit Cards from American Express® Click HERE for more info

Hot on the heals of the 3.1CPM coach run to SAN or LAS we have this even BETTER one as it is all in 1st class and you get the class of service bonus and don’t have to worry about your upgrade. Best results via DTW both ways. Here is the lowest I found: Cost $424 in 1st class 8,210 MQMs at 5.1CPM (via DTW both ways for best CPM) use ITA switch DL+ x:dtw Bookable on Delta.com Centurion time and 1st class – me likeeee! 😉 Gold-Platinum-Reserve Delta SkyMiles® Credit Cards from American Express® Click HERE for more info

If the days were different I would be all over this one (& a HT to FT). The price is very nice and well below our 4CPM Skymiles2015 cap for coach and 8CPM in 1st. I would  look at the 1st class price one despite limited dates. But what you REALLY should consider this in coach for an AMAZING 2 trips for 20k redemption for just $94 out of pocket for you i.e. keeping two trips on one PNR under $400! As you can see, and you can do it at FlexPerk redemption as well, you can do two trips with a day off in the middle (to enjoy the Centurion Lounge) and pick up a BOATLOAD of MQMs! Here is the one day trip! Cost $194 5,472 MQMs at 3.5CPM Bookable on Delta.com Any questions on this one? Fire away but do look at all the options as this…

This one works as a same day trip as I have shown or there are a few days that you can do a single overnight. You can play with the dates and overnight if you want to position as the LAS overnight may be a better choice or not. Not at all a bad price for a 1st class run to get those last few MQMs you need before year end! Here are the numbers: Cost $557 7,322 MQMs at 7.6CPM Bookable on Delta.com
