This latest Delta FREE weather waiver is for flights TOMORROW 21JUNE15 and blanket covers many states that could be weather impacted. They say never look a gift horse in the mouth, so please do take a peek if you are flying tomorrow. This one covers a massive amount of airports in:
District of Columbia
As a reminder, look at ALL the legal routes by searching for tickets from A-B. You may want to add some stops and earn some more MQMs via better routing (SkyMiles earned will NOT change as they are spend based, but MQMS are distance based still). When you find the PERFECT flights, call Delta and have them change you FREE to those flights.
Do also keep in mind you will have more chances to get just what you want if you choose Delta metal. If you are booked on, or connecting to, AF or KLM etc. you can perhaps change over to a Delta flight should you wish. Again, keep all options open and we are talking both PAID tickets and award tickets. All changes are FREE and if an award will NOT cost you more points (again on Delta metal).
Even if you are NOT looking to earn more MQMs or find better routes you may want to just avoid miss-connects, additional time in airports or time on bad tiny jets. Coming back from my Miami from my visit to the new AMEX Centurion club visit this past Thursday (report on the way soon) flying around storms resulted in WAY to much time on a hot and very uncomfortable CRJ200! Travel safe everyone. – René
PS – Don’t forget TIME IS RUNNING OUT to get the 60,000 point limited time < — LINK Delta AMEX offer!
PPS – Be sure to check back later today for SWAG Saturdays return.
“But of course, we strike, it is spring after all” (say that in your best bad French accent please 😉 ). Thus, you will need to keep CLOSE watch on all your flights in and out of any airport in France. You can click HERE to see the latest on Delta.com for … Continue reading
