As Hurricane Dorian works its way up the East Coast, so do Delta Air Lines’ travel weather waivers.
With Category 5 Hurricane Dorian wreaking havoc on the Bahamas, Delta Air Lines has issued a new travel weather waiver for a number of cities in Georgia and the Carolinas.
After days of no cancellations and adding thousands of seats to assist evacuating travelers, Delta Air Lines was finally forced to cancel flights because of now-Category 5 Hurricane Dorian.
Delta just added more US mainland cities to Hurricane Dorian travel weather waiver group and extended ticket reissues and travel dates by an extra day.

Delta Air Lines has issued a weather travel waiver for St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, not long after Tropical Storm Dorian was upgraded to hurricane status.
As a preemptive measure before Tropical Storm Dorian’s arrival, Delta Air Lines has preemptively issued a weather travel waiver for five Caribbean airports.
