Orlando-area Delta travelers (or people who can get to MCO) might like this single day mileage run to Los Angeles (LAX) via Atlanta!
I met up with a family member today in the Westchester section of Los Angeles. I was a few blocks from LAX and decided to check out the airport.
Plenty of local news stations have documented the airport’s emptiness. But seeing it in person is truly memorable.
And, frankly, a little jarring.
June Gloom arrived with a punch this morning, making the site especially gloomy. The gray clouds only enhanced the joyless atmosphere.
Here’s what I saw.
Those in the Los Angeles area willing to spend $60 can pick up almost 2500 MQM in about eight hours during a quick trip to Austin. It comes out to just 2.3 CPM!
While certainly not as exciting as the MQD runs we posted the past few days, this overnight trip helps Delta Sky Miles members scoop up 6838 MQM for just over $309.
The current baggage check/drop for Delta Air Lines passengers leaving Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) gets tweaked starting Monday, January 13.
(I’m so ready for Delta’s LAX Sky Way project — and LAX’s renovation that will make traffic “a thing of the past” — to be finished.)
Delta SkyMiles members on the West Coast: check out this Virgin Atlantic Premium Economy long weekend run from LAX to Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV).
Want to enjoy some MQM and BBQ during a Saturday? This run could be for you.
If you want a jumpstart on 2021 Delta Medallion status, check this out!
P.F. Chang’s inside Los Angeles International Airport’s (LAX) Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) has reportedly decided to leave the Priority Pass program.
Jump on this right now if you’re interested in scoring over $6600 MQD and 33,135 MQM. Very few tickets remain at this price for this Los Angeles (LAX) to Johannesburg, South Africa (JNB) mileage run.
This is the stuff of nightmares — assuming you fall asleep on the airport floor during your flight’s overnight delay.
Delta Air Lines flight 975 was scheduled to depart JFK at 3:30 PM on Wednesday. The 767-300 didn’t leave until 9:43 AM this morning.
Rejoice, red-eye haters! Delta will launch a daytime flight between JFK and London Heathrow (LHR) next year.
Welcome to a regular feature on the Renés Points blog. This blog series covers in a “rookie” way either a Delta or travel related theme and attempts to break down to a basic level each topic. You can read up on all the previous posts HERE. Now on to this featured topic.
You’re excited! Why? You’re flying a Delta domestic route on a plane outfitted with Delta One seats — and have a seat assignment up front!
Heads up, Southwest travelers. Hopefully it’s a glitch (or payback for my teasing them) but the airline of LUV quoted me two wildly different prices to change an award flight. Quick Backstory My family and I have an upcoming trip to Las Vegas for a friend’s birthday party. We opted to fly Southwest from Burbank instead of Delta out of LAX for a few reasons: LAX is a disaster right now (more than usual). Flying to Vegas from LAX would take longer than driving. BUR is closer to our house. And much simpler. I had Rapid Rewards points to burn, thanks to one of my clients who nearly always books us contractors on Southwest I had enough Rapid Rewards points for one round trip, so I used them for my reservation. My wife and daughter booked using a separate Rapid Rewards account topped off with enough points thanks to a…
